Scouting teaches Real-Life Skills, helping Young People become Future Leaders
Crossroads of the West Council
2025 Annual Report

Dear Friends,
As we reflect on this past year—and on five years as the Crossroads of the West Council—I want to begin with a sincere thank you. Your commitment to Scouting through your time, talent, generosity, and belief in young people has carried us mile after mile. Every step forward we’ve taken has been possible because of you.

Since our council’s founding, our mission has remained clear and constant: to prepare young people to make ethical choices throughout their lives by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Over these first five years, that mission has translated into countless moments of growth, adventure, and service across our communities. Each experience—whether at camp, in a unit meeting, or through community service—adds up to meaningful miles of impact in the lives of youth and families.
Parents continue to tell us that Scouting in the Crossroads of the West Council offers something truly special: opportunities for families to grow together through adventure, leadership, and service. These experiences build confidence, character, and resilience in young people, equipping them with skills that last far beyond their Scouting journey.
As we look ahead, the momentum built over the past five years positions us well for the road in front of us. By staying true to our mission and vision, we strengthen our ability to recruit dedicated volunteers, attract talented professionals, and welcome even more youth into the Scouting family. The successes highlighted in this annual report represent shared effort—proof that when a community rallies around its youth, the impact reaches far beyond any single year.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are not only celebrating five years of progress—we are laying the groundwork for many more miles of leadership, character, and service in the years ahead.
Yours in Scouting,

Allen Endicott
